Give the team working in Jira a clear starting point: the customer’s report and the detail Gleap captured with it. The native integration creates Jira issues from Gleap tickets, so support can hand off work without writing the same report again.
Route work to the right project
Choose the Jira organization, project, and issue type during setup. Automatically send the ticket types that belong in that project, or submit a ticket individually once your team has confirmed the next step.
A bug can go to an engineering project as a bug issue, for example, while a general support question stays in the Gleap inbox. The connection also supports sending updates and messages to the linked Jira work.
Set up the connection
- Add Jira in your project’s Integrations settings and authorize Gleap through Atlassian.
- Select the project and issue type.
- Configure the ticket types and forwarding options for that connection.
- Test a report before widening the automatic rules.
Use the issue tracker setup guide if a destination is missing or tickets do not arrive.
Send evidence before asking for a fix
Kai Resolve can investigate a difficult customer issue before an engineering handoff. Your team can use those findings to decide what belongs in Jira and what needs more information first.
