Gleap AI agents can read Affinity through Composio, for teams that manage investor, partner or customer relationships in Affinity and support their product’s users in Gleap. The toolkit only reads data, so a custom agent can show which Affinity lists and opportunities a customer belongs to without changing anything there.
What a Gleap agent can do in Affinity
- The relationship behind a ticket: Get a single person and Get a person’s lists show which Affinity lists the customer from a Gleap ticket appears on, such as a key accounts list.
- Company context: Get a single company and Get a company’s list entries return the company’s fields and list rows, including the owner your team recorded.
- Open opportunities: Get a single opportunity shows the basic details of an opportunity linked to the customer, so support knows a deal is in progress.
- Saved views as a filter: Get all list entries on a saved view reads a view your team already uses, such as priority relationships, so the agent can flag tickets from those accounts.
Example: a key account reports a broken export
Your company sells software to venture funds and tracks its customer relationships in Affinity. A partner at one fund reports through the Gleap widget that the quarterly report export fails. The agent finds the person in Affinity, sees that the fund is on your key accounts list with an open expansion opportunity, and tells the teammate on the Gleap ticket. The support lead decides the priority and loops in the relationship owner.
How to connect Affinity
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Affinity, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Affinity” and select it.
- Enter your Affinity API key and any other details the form asks for, then click Connect Affinity.
- Open the Affinity tool and switch off the reads the agent does not need, such as the metadata lookups.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Affinity?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Affinity through Composio’s Affinity toolkit, authenticated with an Affinity API key. The agent reads Affinity data during its runs; nothing is written back or synced.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Affinity?
It can read people, companies, opportunities, lists, list entries, saved views and field metadata. Some reads, such as list entries, need the “Export data from Lists” permission for the user behind the API key, which Affinity controls.
Which Gleap plan includes the Affinity integration?
Custom agents that read Affinity are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Affinity permissions of the API key’s user still limit what the agent sees. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent log notes or tasks in Affinity?
Not with the current toolkit, which has no write actions. The agent reports what it finds on the Gleap ticket, and your team updates Affinity. If Composio adds write actions later, they appear in the tool’s action list and stay available until someone switches them off.
