Turn customer context into a useful record in the system your team maintains. Airtable tools through Composio let a Gleap Custom Agent search a table’s records, retrieve a known record, and create new records when that action is enabled.
Start with your team’s table
Choose a base and table that have a clear role in the workflow. That might be an implementation tracker, a customer research log, or a queue of product requests.
An agent could check for an existing request before creating a new entry with the customer’s summary and the fields your team needs. Listing records supports filtering and sorting; reading a specific record uses its record ID.
Define the record you want to create
Map the information from the conversation to the table’s actual fields. Decide how to identify existing records and what should happen when the lookup finds a match. A record name is not interchangeable with its Airtable ID.
Connect Airtable from your custom agent’s tool settings, authorize the intended account, and inspect the available actions. Check the base, table, and field mapping with a known record before enabling record creation.
The Airtable toolkit reference documents these inputs. Use Custom Agents to build the table workflow. For collecting and prioritizing customer demand within Gleap, explore product feedback.
