Gleap AI agents can work in Apollo.io through Composio, for teams that prospect and run email sequences in Apollo while customers and trial users talk to support in Gleap. A custom agent can add company context to Gleap tickets, check a person’s status in Apollo and help keep sales outreach away from customers with an open problem.
What a Gleap agent can do in Apollo.io
- Who is asking: Enrich organization data returns industry, size and location for the company domain behind a Gleap ticket or feature request.
- Pipeline status: Search Apollo contacts shows whether the person already sits in your Apollo pipeline, with their stage and owner.
- No sales emails during an incident: Update contact status in sequence can take a contact out of an active sequence while their support issue is open, when a teammate asks for it.
- Tasks for reps: Create Apollo Task gives the contact’s owner a task, for example to call once the reported bug is fixed.
Example: a trial user in the middle of a sequence
A trial user reports through the Gleap widget that their data sync fails, while Apollo is still sending them the next email of a trial sequence. A teammate asks the agent on the Gleap ticket to hold the outreach. The agent finds the contact in Apollo, marks them finished in the sequence and creates a task for the owner with a summary of the ticket. The rep decides when to follow up, and support works on the sync.

FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Apollo.io?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Apollo.io through Composio’s Apollo toolkit, authenticated with an Apollo API key. The agent calls Apollo while it runs; Gleap contacts are not pushed to Apollo automatically.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Apollo.io?
It can search people, contacts, accounts and organizations, enrich people and companies, manage contacts, accounts, deals, tasks, calls and sequences, and send emails. Sending and sequence actions reach prospects directly, so leave them off unless outreach is part of the agent’s job.
Which Gleap plan includes the Apollo.io integration?
Custom agents that use Apollo.io are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Apollo’s own plan decides which endpoints and how many credits the API key can use. AI usage in Gleap is billed separately; see pricing.
Do enrichment calls cost Apollo credits?
Yes. Apollo charges its own credits for enrichment, so each enrichment call the agent makes can use them. Limit enrichment to the tickets where company context matters, such as feature requests or trials, in the agent’s instructions.
