Gleap AI agents can work in Attio, for teams that manage customer relationships in Attio and run support, bug reports and feature requests in Gleap. A custom agent can search Attio records, read earlier notes and add notes and tasks, so the account behind a ticket is one question away.
What a Gleap agent can do in Attio
- The account behind a ticket: searching records finds the person and company from a Gleap ticket, with the fields your team keeps in Attio, such as the owner or deal stage.
- Notes where account managers look: creating a note records a customer’s bug report or feature request on the Attio company or person.
- Tasks for the owner: creating a task asks the account owner to follow up, for example before a renewal while a reported bug is still open.
- Lists for product feedback: adding records to an Attio list collects the companies that asked for the same feature, next to the votes in Gleap.
Example: a renewal and an open bug
A customer whose renewal is due next month reports through the Gleap widget that scheduled exports stopped running. A teammate @mentions the agent on the Gleap ticket. The agent finds the company in Attio, sees the renewal date and owner, adds a note about the open bug and creates a task for the owner to check in after the fix. Support answers the customer, and the account owner decides how to handle the renewal conversation.
How to connect Attio
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Attio, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, open Integrations and select Attio under Popular integrations.
- Click Connect Attio and sign in to Attio. For custom agents, Gleap connects to Attio’s own MCP server with your Attio permissions.
- Open the Attio tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as deleting comments or merging records.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
For Kai Code, open Settings, then MCP, click Add MCP server and search for Attio to connect the Composio Attio toolkit.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Attio?
Yes. Custom agents connect to Attio’s official MCP server with an Attio sign-in, and Kai Code can use Composio’s Attio toolkit. Either way, the agent reads and writes Attio only when it runs; there is no background sync of records.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Attio?
It can search and read records, lists, notes, tasks, meetings and emails, create and update records, notes, tasks and list entries, and run reports, depending on the tools you leave switched on. Everything runs with the permissions of the Attio user who connected.
Which Gleap plan includes the Attio integration?
Custom agents with Attio tools are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Code is on Team, Pro and Enterprise, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on the same plans. Your Attio workspace permissions still apply. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Why does the custom agent use Attio’s MCP server instead of Composio?
Attio publishes its own MCP server with OAuth sign-in, so Gleap offers it as a ready-made connection for custom agents. Kai Code’s settings use Composio’s catalog, which includes the Attio toolkit.
