Gleap AI agents can work with Cal.com through Composio, for teams that book onboarding, support and demo calls with Cal.com and talk to customers in Gleap. A custom agent can check which sessions a customer already booked, find open slots and fetch booking links, so the teammate on a Gleap ticket can offer a call in one step.
Unlike the native Cal.com integration, which lets Kai Support offer free times and book meetings in the chat, this Composio toolkit gives Gleap’s AI agents Cal.com actions they can call during a run.
What a Gleap agent can do in Cal.com
- Existing bookings: Fetch all bookings filtered by attendee shows whether the customer behind a Gleap ticket already has an onboarding or support session coming up.
- Open slots for a call: Get available slots info returns free times for your support call event type, so the teammate can suggest a few in the reply.
- Private links for priority customers: Get event type private links returns a private booking link that a teammate can send to a customer who needs a call soon.
- Pending bookings: Confirm booking by uid confirms a booking that waits for approval once a teammate says yes.
Example: a call request with a booking already made
A new customer asks in the Gleap widget for help connecting their data source and wants a call. A teammate asks the agent on the ticket whether a session exists. The agent finds an onboarding booking for Thursday under the customer’s email and also lists two free support slots for tomorrow. The teammate decides which to offer and writes the reply.
How to connect Cal.com
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Cal.com, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Cal” and select the Cal.com toolkit.
- Click Connect Cal and follow the authorization Gleap shows: approve access in the Cal.com sign-in window, or enter a Cal.com API key if the form asks for one.
- Open the tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as Create a new booking, cancel, decline, reschedule, the delete actions and event type changes.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Cal.com?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Cal.com through Composio’s Cal toolkit, which supports OAuth and API keys. The agent reads and changes Cal.com data when it runs; bookings are not synced into Gleap.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Cal.com?
It can fetch bookings, available slots and event types, read schedules and private links, create, confirm, decline, reassign, reschedule or cancel bookings, and manage event types, schedules and webhooks. Canceling and rescheduling reach your customers, so leave those decisions with a person.
Which Gleap plan includes the Cal.com integration?
Custom agents that use Cal.com are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Team event types need the connected Cal.com user to belong to that team. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent book the call itself?
It can: Create a new booking books a slot on an event type. Because a booking commits the customer to a time, a safer setup has the agent suggest slots or a booking link and lets the teammate or the customer pick the time.
