Gleap AI agents can work in Capsule CRM through Composio, for small and mid-sized teams that manage contacts and pipelines in Capsule and support customers in Gleap. A custom agent can find the person or organization behind a Gleap ticket, add a note to their history and create a follow-up task for the owner.
What a Gleap agent can do in Capsule CRM
- Who the customer is: Search Parties finds the person or organization from a Gleap ticket by name or email.
- Notes in the history: Create Entry adds a note to the party’s history, for example a summary of a bug report and its status in Gleap.
- Follow-up tasks: Create Task gives the account owner a task with a due date, linked to the party or opportunity.
- Deals in progress: List Party Opportunities shows open opportunities for the organization, so support knows when a customer is mid-purchase.
Example: an upgrade blocked by a bug
A customer planning to upgrade to more seats reports through the Gleap widget that inviting teammates fails. A teammate asks the agent on the Gleap ticket to let the account owner know. The agent finds the organization in Capsule, sees the open upgrade opportunity, adds a note with the bug and creates a task for the owner to check in on Friday. Support handles the bug, and the owner decides how to talk about the upgrade.
How to connect Capsule CRM
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Capsule CRM, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Capsule” and select Capsule CRM.
- Click Connect Capsule CRM and follow the authorization Gleap shows: approve access in the Capsule sign-in window, or enter a Capsule API token if the form asks for one.
- Open the Capsule CRM tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as the delete actions, Update Capsule CRM Pipeline or Update User.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Capsule CRM?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Capsule CRM through Composio’s Capsule CRM toolkit, which supports OAuth and API tokens. The agent works in Capsule when it runs; parties and Gleap contacts are not synchronized in the background.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Capsule CRM?
It can search and read parties, opportunities, projects, tasks and entries, create note entries, tasks, opportunities and projects, update most records and run filter queries. Create Entry only creates notes: emails in the history can be read but not written, and tasks have their own Create Task action.
Which Gleap plan includes the Capsule CRM integration?
Custom agents that use Capsule CRM belong to the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Capsule user permissions still decide which records the agent reaches. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
What does Capsule mean by a party?
Capsule calls people and organizations parties. Search Parties looks through names and contact details, so the agent can match the email on a Gleap ticket to a person and see the organization they belong to. Gleap contacts never create Capsule records on their own; the agent adds parties only if you leave Create Capsule CRM Party on.
