Gleap custom agents can use Coda docs as a working surface: they read tables, add rows and update pages through Composio. It helps teams that run bug triage, customer onboarding or release plans in Coda.
What a Gleap agent can do in Coda
- Add or update a row per report: Insert/Update Rows in Coda Table writes the bug, the customer and the date into your triage table without creating duplicates.
- Read your playbook: List table rows and Get a page let the agent check an escalation or refund policy doc before it briefs a teammate.
- Press a button you built: Push a button runs a button column in a table, such as one that notifies the on-call engineer.
- React to a page update: With the Specific Coda Page Updated trigger, an agent can run when your release plan page changes.
Example: Onboarding blockers stay visible
The success team keeps an onboarding tracker in Coda with one row per new customer. A customer writes in Gleap that their data import failed, and a teammate asks the agent to update the tracker. The agent finds the customer’s row with List table rows, sets the status to Blocked and adds the ticket summary. The customer success manager decides the next step with the customer.
How to connect Coda
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Coda”.
- Pick Coda under More integrations and click Connect Coda.
- Paste a Coda API token into the form Gleap shows and connect.
- Open the new Coda tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete doc or Delete multiple rows.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Coda, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Coda in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Coda?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can list docs and tables, read and write rows, create and update pages and push buttons. Nothing is copied between Gleap and Coda unless an agent runs and uses one of these actions.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Coda?
It keeps Coda tables current with information from tickets, reads team docs for context, and runs button actions you built. The token you connect limits which docs it can reach.
Which Gleap plan includes the Coda integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Coda toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. Create a dedicated Coda API token, so you can revoke it without affecting anyone’s personal access. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can a Coda change start a Gleap agent?
Yes, for the events Composio offers as Coda triggers: a new doc, a new page, an update to a specific page and a deleted doc. Row changes are not among them, so table work runs from a ticket or on a schedule.
