Gleap AI agents can work with Fathom through Composio, for customer success, sales and product teams that record calls with the Fathom notetaker and track customer feedback in Gleap. A custom agent can read a call’s summary and transcript and bring the customer’s asks and problems into Gleap, where your team decides what happens next.
What a Gleap agent can do in Fathom
- The calls that matter: List Meetings finds recent recorded meetings, for example every call with a customer’s domain this week.
- A summary on the ticket: Get Recording Summary returns Fathom’s summary, so the agent can post the agreed next steps in a ticket’s agent chat when a teammate asks.
- The customer’s own words: Get Recording Transcript gives the agent the full conversation, so a feature request in Gleap can quote what the customer said.
- Who was on the call: List Team Members shows which of your colleagues recorded the call, so the agent can name the owner in its summary.
Example: a renewal call with a feature ask
An account manager records a renewal call in Fathom where the customer asks for Salesforce sync and mentions a bug in their dashboard. The next morning, the agent runs on a schedule, reads the summary and transcript, adds the customer as an upvoter to the matching Gleap feature request and opens a task for the support teammate about the dashboard problem. The support teammate checks the bug, and the product team weighs the request.
How to connect Fathom
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Fathom, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Fathom” and select it.
- Click Connect Fathom and follow the authorization Gleap shows: approve access in the Fathom sign-in window, or enter a Fathom API key if the form asks for one.
- Open the Fathom tool and switch off the webhook actions the agent does not need.
- Add the Gleap tool to the same agent, then publish and test it in chat before you turn on a schedule.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Fathom?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Fathom through Composio’s Fathom toolkit, which supports OAuth and API keys. The agent reads meetings when it runs; recordings and transcripts are not stored in Gleap.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Fathom?
It can list meetings, teams and team members, read recording summaries and transcripts, and create or delete webhooks for meeting content. It cannot edit recordings or share them, so the toolkit is mostly a way to read what was said.
Which Gleap plan includes the Fathom integration?
Custom agents that use Fathom are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. The meetings the agent sees depend on the connected Fathom account. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Should the agent create new feature requests from calls?
Adding votes to existing requests is the safer default, because customers on calls may repeat a request you already track. If nothing matches, let the agent open a task for a teammate, who decides whether a new request belongs on the board.
