Gleap AI agents can work with Fireflies through Composio, for teams that record customer calls with Fireflies.ai and collect feature requests and bug reports in Gleap. A custom agent can start when a transcript is ready, read what customers said and add it to the right feedback in Gleap for your team to review.
What a Gleap agent can do in Fireflies
- Start when a call is transcribed: Fireflies’ Transcription Complete trigger can start the agent as soon as a meeting transcript is ready.
- What the customer asked for: Get Transcript by ID and Get Meeting Topics give the agent the call’s content, so it can pick out feature requests and problems.
- Votes instead of duplicates: with the Gleap tool on the same agent, it adds the customer as an upvoter to a matching Gleap feature request.
- Questions across many calls: Create AskFred Thread asks Fireflies a question about past meetings, such as which customers mentioned slow exports this month.
Example: a customer call with two requests
A customer success manager holds a quarterly review that Fireflies transcribes. When the transcript is ready, the trigger starts the agent, which finds a request for scheduled reports and a complaint about slow exports. It adds the customer as an upvoter to the existing scheduled reports request in Gleap and opens a task for the support lead, through Request human input, about the slow exports. The lead checks whether a bug report exists and decides the next step.
How to connect Fireflies

- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Fireflies” and select it.
- Enter your Fireflies API key and any other details the form asks for, then click Connect Fireflies.
- Open the Fireflies tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as Delete Transcript by ID, Set User Role or Add to Live Meeting.
- Add the Gleap tool, then a Tool trigger for Transcription Complete once you have tested the agent in chat.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Fireflies?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Fireflies.ai through Composio’s Fireflies toolkit, authenticated with a Fireflies API key. The agent reads transcripts when it runs, and the Transcription Complete trigger can start it; transcripts are not stored in Gleap.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Fireflies?
It can list, search and read transcripts, meeting topics, participants and analytics, ask AskFred questions, create bites, update meeting titles, privacy and channels, and delete transcripts. Reading transcripts and asking questions is what feedback work needs; switch the rest off.
Which Gleap plan includes the Fireflies integration?
Custom agents that use Fireflies, including its tool trigger, are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Some Fireflies actions need a paid Fireflies plan. AI usage is billed separately, and full transcripts use more of them; see pricing.
Will the agent process every recorded meeting?
The trigger starts the agent when Fireflies reports a finished transcript for the connected account, which can include internal meetings. Tell the agent in its instructions which meetings matter, for example calls with external participants, and to stop quietly on internal meetings.
