A Gleap custom agent can run Google Analytics 4 reports through Composio, including real-time and funnel reports. It helps teams check traffic and conversion facts when customers report problems with a page or a flow.
What a Gleap agent can do in Google Analytics
- Check a page after a report: Run Report returns sessions, events or key events for a page path and date range.
- See what is happening now: Run Realtime Report shows events from the last 30 to 60 minutes, useful when several customers report the same page at once.
- Find the drop-off: Run Funnel Report shows where visitors leave a signup or checkout flow.
- Use valid fields: Get Metadata lists the dimensions and metrics of your property, so the agent builds reports that run.
Example: A blank pricing page
Two customers write in Gleap that the pricing page is blank. A teammate asks the agent whether others are affected. The agent runs a real-time report for the pricing page and compares today’s page views with the same day last week, which shows a sharp drop since the morning deploy. The teammate escalates to engineering with the numbers.
How to connect Google Analytics
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Google Analytics”.
- Pick Google Analytics under More integrations and click Connect Google Analytics.
- Sign in with your Google account in the popup and approve access.
- Open the new Google Analytics tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Update Property or Archive Custom Dimension.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Google Analytics, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Google Analytics in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Google Analytics?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can run standard, pivot, funnel and real-time GA4 reports and read property settings such as key events and custom dimensions. Reports run when the agent runs; Gleap does not copy analytics data.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Google Analytics?
It answers traffic and conversion questions that come up in support and product work, such as whether a page error affects many visitors. It posts the numbers in the ticket for your team.
Which Gleap plan includes the Google Analytics integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Google Analytics toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. The Google account you connect needs access to the GA4 property. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent change our Google Analytics setup?
Some actions write, such as Create Custom Dimension, Update Property and Archive Custom Dimension. Switch them off if the agent should only read reports.
