A Gleap custom agent can query Google Search Console through Composio: URL inspection, search analytics and sitemaps. It helps teams whose help center and docs bring in search traffic and who want indexing questions answered with data.
What a Gleap agent can do in Google Search Console
- Inspect a URL: Inspect URL reports whether Google has indexed a help article or page and, if not, why.
- Check search performance: Search Analytics Query returns clicks, impressions, click-through rate and position for pages and queries.
- Watch sitemaps: List Sitemaps and Get Sitemap show submitted and indexed counts, errors and warnings.
- Resubmit a sitemap: Submit Sitemap resubmits your sitemap after a large batch of new help articles.
Example: A help article that Google does not show
A customer tells support in Gleap that the help article about SSO does not show up on Google. The teammate asks the agent to check. The agent runs Inspect URL on the article, sees that Google chose an older page as the canonical version and pulls that page’s clicks with Search Analytics Query. The content owner decides which article to keep.
How to connect Google Search Console
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Google Search Console”.
- Pick Google Search Console under More integrations and click Connect Google Search Console.
- Sign in with your Google account in the popup and approve access.
- Open the new Google Search Console tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete Site or Add Site.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Google Search Console, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Google Search Console in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Google Search Console?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can list your sites, inspect URLs, query search analytics and read or submit sitemaps. It reads Search Console only when it runs.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Google Search Console?
It answers “why can’t I find this on Google?” with data: index status for a page, the queries and clicks it gets and the health of your sitemaps. Content and SEO owners decide the fix.
Which Gleap plan includes the Google Search Console integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Google Search Console toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. The Google account you connect must have access to the Search Console property. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
How current is Search Console data?
It is not real time. Composio notes that URL inspection results can lag real changes by several days, and performance data also trails by a few days.
