Through Composio, a Gleap custom agent can add, update and list Google Tasks for the connected Google account. It is a light way to track support follow-ups for teams that already work in Gmail and Google Calendar.
What a Gleap agent can do in Google Tasks
- Add the follow-up: Insert Task creates a task in the list you name, with the customer’s request in the notes and a due date.
- Organize by purpose: Create a task list sets up a list for a customer project, and Move Task nests or reorders tasks inside it.
- Update as things change: Patch Task changes the title, notes, due date or status, including marking a task completed.
- Review what is open: List All Tasks Across All Lists gives the agent an overview when a teammate asks what is pending for a customer.
Example: A roadmap request with a check-in date
A customer asks to hear back when the Android app supports offline mode. The teammate adds the customer to the feature request in Gleap and asks the agent to plan a check-in for next month. The agent creates a task in the team’s Follow-ups list with the ticket summary and a due date. The account manager decides when and how to reach out.
How to connect Google Tasks
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Google Tasks”.
- Pick Google Tasks under More integrations and click Connect Google Tasks.
- Sign in with your Google account in the popup and approve access.
- Open the new Google Tasks tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete task list or Clear tasks.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Google Tasks, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Google Tasks in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Google Tasks?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can create, update, move and delete tasks and task lists in the connected account. Nothing is created in Google Tasks unless an agent run calls one of those actions.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Google Tasks?
It records follow-ups from customer conversations as tasks, keeps their due dates and notes current and lists open tasks across lists. It suits small teams that want reminders without a project tool.
Which Gleap plan includes the Google Tasks integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Google Tasks toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. The connection authorizes a single Google account. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Whose Google Tasks does the agent use?
The tasks of the Google account that signed in when you connected the tool. Google task lists are personal, so consider connecting a shared support account with one list per purpose.
