Gleap custom agents can work in Monday (monday.com) through Composio: they read boards, create items and post updates while they handle a ticket. It suits teams that plan work in Monday and receive bug reports and feature requests in Gleap.
What a Gleap agent can do in Monday
- Log a bug as an item: Create item adds the report to the board and group you name, with the steps, page URL and browser from the ticket.
- Check what is planned: List items by column values finds an existing item for the request, so the agent reports its status instead of adding a duplicate.
- Add new customer context: Create update posts a note on the item when a customer sends more detail and a teammate asks the agent to pass it on.
- Move work after a decision: Move item to group puts a confirmed bug into the sprint group once a teammate approves it through an Ask for a decision card.
Example: A bug report becomes a Monday item
A customer reports that CSV export fails in Safari, and the report reaches Gleap with the page URL and browser version. A teammate asks the agent in the ticket to log it. The agent searches the Bugs board, finds no match and creates an item with the steps and browser. The team lead decides the priority and the sprint.
How to connect Monday
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Monday”.
- Pick Monday under More integrations and click Connect Monday.
- Sign in to Monday in the popup and approve access.
- Open the new Monday tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete board or Delete item.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Monday, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Monday in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Monday?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent gets Monday actions such as Create item, Create update and Get boards and uses them while it works on a ticket. There is no built-in Monday sync: items change only when an agent calls an action you allowed.
Does Gleap connect to Monday through MCP?
Yes. Gleap connects to Composio’s MCP server for Monday with the Monday account you connect, and the agent calls only the actions you leave switched on. To use a different remote MCP server, add it by URL: as a Custom MCP tool for Kai Support or a custom agent, or as a custom HTTP server in Kai Code.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Monday?
It reads boards, groups and items, creates and updates items, posts updates and moves items between groups. That covers logging bugs, tracking requests and answering status questions.
Which Gleap plan includes the Monday integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Monday toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. The Monday account you connect needs access to the boards the agent should read or change. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Does the Monday item update when the Gleap ticket changes?
Not by itself. Composio currently lists no Monday triggers, so nothing syncs in the background. The agent updates the item when it runs, for example when a teammate asks it in the ticket.
