A Gleap custom agent can read and write NetSuite records through Composio, including customers, sales orders, item fulfillments and invoices, and run SuiteQL queries. It helps B2B companies whose customers ask support about orders, deliveries and invoices that live in NetSuite.
What a Gleap agent can do in NetSuite
- Check an order: Get Sales Order and List Item Fulfillments show whether an order was fulfilled and when.
- Answer invoice questions: List Invoices and Get Invoice return the customer’s invoices and their status.
- Ask a precise question: Run SuiteQL Query answers questions such as open orders for one customer in one query.
- Keep contact data current: Update Customer changes fields such as the billing email after the customer asks in a ticket.
Example: Where is our order?
A purchasing manager writes in Gleap that a spare parts order has not arrived. The teammate asks the agent to check. The agent finds the customer’s sales order in NetSuite, sees a partial fulfillment last Tuesday and lists the items still open. The teammate shares the status and asks operations about the missing items.
How to connect NetSuite
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “NetSuite”.
- Pick NetSuite under More integrations and click Connect NetSuite.
- Create a NetSuite integration record for OAuth as described in Composio’s setup guide, paste its client ID, client secret and any account details Gleap asks for, and add the redirect URI Gleap shows. Then sign in to NetSuite in the popup.
- Open the new NetSuite tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete Invoice or Delete Customer.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use NetSuite, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use NetSuite in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with NetSuite?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can create, read, update, transform and delete NetSuite records and run SuiteQL queries, limited to the actions you leave on. It works only during an agent run.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in NetSuite?
It answers order, delivery and invoice questions with data from NetSuite and keeps customer contact details current. Orders, credits and payments stay with your operations and finance teams.
Which Gleap plan includes the NetSuite integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the NetSuite toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. Composio uses your own NetSuite OAuth integration for this toolkit, so an administrator sets it up once. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Which NetSuite role should the agent use?
A dedicated role with read access to the records support needs and write access only where you want changes. NetSuite enforces the role’s permissions for every action the agent calls.
