Gleap AI agents can read Pingdom through Composio, for teams that monitor uptime and key user flows with Pingdom and hear about problems from customers in Gleap. The toolkit only reads data, so a custom agent can check Pingdom’s view of your site and flows without changing a check.
What a Gleap agent can do in Pingdom
- Is the site up: Get Checks List and Get Single Check return the status and last response time of your uptime checks.
- Is a user flow broken: Get TMS Transaction Checks List shows your transaction checks, such as the login or checkout flow, which matters when customers report one step failing.
- Planned maintenance: Get Maintenance Windows and List Maintenance Occurrences show scheduled maintenance behind reports of downtime.
- Where the checks run from: Get Probes lists Pingdom’s probe locations, which helps when only customers in one region report problems.
Example: checkout fails for some customers
Two customers report through the Gleap widget that the checkout never finishes. A teammate asks the agent on one of the tickets to check Pingdom. The agent finds the uptime check green but the checkout transaction check failing since 9:40, with no maintenance scheduled. It posts that on the ticket, and the teammate hands the report to the on-call engineer with the time the failures started.
How to connect Pingdom
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Pingdom, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Pingdom” and select it.
- Enter your Pingdom API token and any other details the form asks for, then click Connect Pingdom.
- Open the Pingdom tool and switch off the reads the agent does not need, such as Get Credits or Get Team Details.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Pingdom?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Pingdom through Composio’s Pingdom toolkit, authenticated with a Pingdom API token. The agent reads Pingdom data when it runs; Pingdom alerts are not sent to Gleap by the toolkit.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Pingdom?
It can read uptime and transaction checks, alert actions, contacts, teams, probes, maintenance windows and occurrences, reference data and credits. Every action reads, so the agent cannot pause or change a check.
Which Gleap plan includes the Pingdom integration?
Custom agents that use Pingdom are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. The API token decides which Pingdom account the agent reads. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent tell customers about an outage?
It can report what Pingdom shows to your team on the Gleap ticket. Whether and how customers hear about an outage is your team’s call, so give Pingdom to internal agents rather than to agents with the Reply to customer tool.
