Gleap AI agents can work in Pipedrive through Composio, for teams whose sales pipeline lives in Pipedrive while support, bug reports and feature requests run in Gleap. A custom agent can show the deal behind a customer conversation and keep the deal owner informed with notes and activities.
What a Gleap agent can do in Pipedrive
- The deal behind a ticket: Search persons and Search organizations find the customer from a Gleap ticket, and Get Deal Details shows the open deal, its value and stage.
- Notes sales will see: Add Note attaches a note to the person, organization or deal, for example that the prospect reported a blocking bug during the trial.
- Follow-ups for the owner: Add an activity schedules a call or task for the deal owner when an important customer is waiting on a fix.
- Support history on new deals: with Pipedrive’s New Deal Received trigger, the agent can run when a deal is created and note the company’s open Gleap tickets on it.
Example: a trial account hits a bug
A prospect in a two-week trial reports through the Gleap widget that the CSV import fails on their file. A teammate asks the agent on the Gleap ticket whether sales should know. The agent finds the organization and its open deal in Pipedrive, adds a note with the error and the ticket status, and schedules an activity for the deal owner. The support teammate answers the prospect, and the account executive decides whether to reach out.
How to connect Pipedrive
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Pipedrive, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Pipedrive” and select it.
- Click Connect Pipedrive and follow the authorization Gleap shows: a Pipedrive API token, or the client ID and secret of your own Pipedrive app followed by a sign-in window.
- Open the Pipedrive tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as the delete and bulk actions or Update a deal.
- To start the agent from Pipedrive events, add a Tool trigger under the agent’s triggers. Publish and test it in chat first.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Pipedrive?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Pipedrive through Composio’s Pipedrive toolkit, connected with a Pipedrive API token or OAuth. The agent reads and writes Pipedrive data when it runs; Gleap contacts and Pipedrive persons are not synced automatically.
Does Gleap connect to Pipedrive through MCP?
Yes. Gleap connects to Composio’s MCP server for Pipedrive with the Pipedrive account you connect, and the agent calls only the actions you leave switched on. To use a different remote MCP server, add it by URL: as a Custom MCP tool for Kai Support or a custom agent, or as a custom HTTP server in Kai Code.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Pipedrive?
It can search and read persons, organizations, deals, leads and products, add and update notes, activities and tasks, and create or update deals. Composio also offers triggers for new deals, notes and organizations, which can start a Gleap agent through a tool trigger.
Which Gleap plan includes the Pipedrive integration?
Custom agents that use Pipedrive, including their tool triggers, are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Pipedrive visibility settings for the connected user still apply. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Should support data live in Pipedrive or Gleap?
Keep conversations and bug reports in Gleap and let the agent write short notes and activities to Pipedrive, where sales acts on them. Gleap also has its own CRM pipelines for tracking deals next to tickets.
