Gleap AI agents can use Postmark through Composio, for teams that send transactional email with Postmark and answer “I never got the email” in Gleap. A custom agent can find the message, see whether it bounced and check the suppression list, so the teammate can answer with facts instead of asking the customer to check spam.
What a Gleap agent can do in Postmark
- Did the email go out: Search Outbound Messages finds the password reset, invite or invoice email sent to the customer’s address, with its status.
- Why it did not arrive: Get Bounces shows bounces for the address, such as a full mailbox or a rejected domain.
- Suppressed addresses: List Suppressions shows whether Postmark stopped sending to the address, and Delete Suppressions can lift it once a teammate agrees.
- A wider delivery problem: Get Delivery Stats and Get Outbound Overview show whether bounces rose for everyone, not only one customer.
Example: a password reset that never arrives
A customer writes in the Gleap widget that they requested a password reset three times and got nothing. A teammate asks the agent on the ticket to check Postmark. The agent finds the three reset emails, sees that the first bounced because the mailbox was full and that Postmark then suppressed the address. The teammate asks the customer to confirm their mailbox works again and then decides whether to lift the suppression.
How to connect Postmark
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Postmark, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Postmark” and select it.
- Enter your Postmark server or account token and any other details the form asks for, then click Connect Postmark.
- Open the Postmark tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as Send Batch Templated Emails, Edit Server, the template changes and Delete Suppressions if a person should lift them.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Postmark?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Postmark through Composio’s Postmark toolkit, authenticated with a Postmark API token. The agent reads and changes Postmark data while it runs; Gleap’s own emails to your customers are not sent through your Postmark account.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Postmark?
It can search outbound and inbound messages, read bounces, suppressions, opens, clicks and delivery statistics, manage templates, message streams, inbound rules, webhooks and suppressions, check spam scores and send templated emails. For support questions, the search, bounce and suppression reads cover most cases.
Which Gleap plan includes the Postmark integration?
Custom agents that use Postmark are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. A server token limits the agent to one Postmark server. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can Kai Support answer “I did not get the email” on its own?
On Team, Pro and Enterprise, Kai Support can use connected apps as tools, so it could check a send status. Because bounce reasons and suppressions are account details, a custom agent that reports to your team is the safer setup for this job.
