A Gleap custom agent can read and update Rocketlane projects, phases and tasks through Composio. It connects support with implementation for teams that run customer onboarding in Rocketlane.
What a Gleap agent can do in Rocketlane
- Brief support on onboarding: List Projects and Get Project by ID show where a customer’s onboarding stands, so the teammate answers with the current phase.
- Add a task from a ticket: Create Task adds a follow-up to the customer’s project, such as a data mapping question raised in chat.
- Comment for the implementation team: Create Comment passes the customer’s latest message to a task or project conversation.
- Find the right person: Search User By Email identifies the customer’s contact in Rocketlane.
Example: An SSO question during onboarding
During onboarding, a customer writes in Gleap that their SSO setup fails. The support teammate asks the agent for context. The agent finds the customer’s Rocketlane project, sees that the SSO task sits in the Configuration phase with the implementation manager and adds the error details as a comment. The implementation manager takes it from there, and support tells the customer who is on it.
How to connect Rocketlane
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Rocketlane”.
- Pick Rocketlane under More integrations and click Connect Rocketlane.
- Paste your Rocketlane API key into the form Gleap shows and connect.
- Open the new Rocketlane tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete Project or Archive Project by ID.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Rocketlane, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Rocketlane in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Rocketlane?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can read and update Rocketlane projects, phases, tasks, comments, conversations and time entries. Nothing moves between the two tools unless an agent run calls those actions.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Rocketlane?
It looks up onboarding progress for the customer in a ticket, adds tasks and comments for the implementation team and finds the people involved. That keeps support answers consistent with the project plan.
Which Gleap plan includes the Rocketlane integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Rocketlane toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. The Rocketlane API key you connect decides which projects the agent can see. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can customers see what the agent writes in Rocketlane?
It depends on where the agent writes. Rocketlane conversations have privacy settings and projects can include customer members, so tell the agent in its instructions to use internal conversations only.
