A Gleap custom agent can read Typeform forms and responses through Composio and act on them in Gleap. It helps teams that run research, onboarding or cancellation forms in Typeform and want the answers next to each customer’s support history.
What a Gleap agent can do in Typeform
- Read new answers: Get Form Responses returns responses filtered by date, so a scheduled agent picks up what arrived since its last run.
- Understand the form: Get Form returns the questions and logic, so the agent reads each answer in context.
- Connect answers to people: With the Gleap tool connected, the agent finds the contact by email, stores the answer in their custom data or opens a ticket.
- File product ideas: The agent searches Gleap feature requests, adds the respondent as a voter on a match or creates a new request.
Example: A weekly pass over cancellation feedback
A Typeform survey asks customers who cancel what was missing. Every Monday a scheduled agent reads the week’s responses, finds each respondent in Gleap and adds them as a voter on the matching feature request, or creates a new request if none fits. It opens a ticket for each account that mentioned a bug, and a teammate decides who gets a personal reply.
How to connect Typeform
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Typeform”.
- Pick Typeform under More integrations and click Connect Typeform.
- Create a Typeform OAuth app as described in Composio’s setup guide, paste its client ID and client secret into Gleap and add the redirect URI Gleap shows to the app. Then sign in to Typeform in the popup.
- Open the new Typeform tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete Responses or Delete Form.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Typeform, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Typeform in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Typeform?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can list forms and workspaces, read forms and responses and create or update forms. Responses are read when the agent runs; Gleap does not import them in the background.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Typeform?
It reads responses, ties them to Gleap contacts and turns the answers that need action into tickets or feature request votes. Gleap also has its own in-app surveys.
Which Gleap plan includes the Typeform integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Typeform toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. For this toolkit, Composio asks for your own Typeform OAuth app, which you register once in your Typeform account. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can a new Typeform response start the agent right away?
Not through Composio’s Typeform toolkit, which has no triggers. Run the agent on a schedule, for example every morning, and let it read the responses since the last run.
