A Gleap custom agent can read and update Userflow users, groups and events through Composio. It helps teams that run onboarding flows and checklists in Userflow and answer customer questions in Gleap.
What a Gleap agent can do in Userflow
- See onboarding progress: List Content Sessions shows the flows, checklists and launchers a customer started and how far they got.
- Update attributes: Create or Update a User merges attributes such as a support tier, so Userflow can target the right content.
- Record a support event: Track an Event logs an event for the user or their company that you can use in Userflow segments.
- Look up the account: Get a Group returns company attributes and memberships when several people from one account write in.
Example: Finding where onboarding stalled
A new customer writes in Gleap that they cannot find where to invite teammates. The teammate asks the agent to check their onboarding. The agent calls List Content Sessions and sees that the customer skipped the invite step of the onboarding checklist, then suggests a reply that points to that step. The teammate decides whether to send it or walk the customer through the setup.
How to connect Userflow
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Userflow”.
- Pick Userflow under More integrations and click Connect Userflow.
- Paste your Userflow API key into the form Gleap shows and connect.
- Open the new Userflow tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete a User or Delete a Group.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Userflow, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Userflow in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Userflow?
Yes, through Composio. Gleap custom agents can read Userflow users, groups, content and content sessions, update attributes and track events. Data moves only when an agent run calls one of these actions.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Userflow?
It checks a customer’s progress through flows and checklists, keeps user and company attributes current and records events from support conversations. It does not edit or publish flows.
Which Gleap plan includes the Userflow integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Userflow toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. You need a Userflow API key for the environment you want the agent to read. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can we use Userflow alongside Gleap product tours?
Yes. Gleap has its own product tours and checklists, and you can keep Userflow for onboarding while Gleap handles support and feedback. The agent reads Userflow data either way; it does not move flows between the two tools.
