Through Composio, a Gleap custom agent can create and update Wrike tasks while it works on a support ticket or feature request. It helps teams whose engineering or operations work lives in Wrike and whose customer conversations live in Gleap.
What a Gleap agent can do in Wrike
- Create the task in the right folder: Create task in folder files a bug with the steps, environment and affected customer from the Gleap ticket.
- Add details later: Create task comment appends new information when the customer replies and a teammate asks the agent to pass it on.
- Report status before a reply: Get task by id tells the agent whether the task is still open, so it can brief the teammate before they answer.
- Adjust the task: Modify task changes the status, dates or assignees once your team agrees on urgency.
Example: One incident task for several reports
Three customers from the same account report failed SSO logins in one morning. A teammate asks the agent to escalate. With the Gleap tool connected, the agent reads the related tickets, creates one Wrike task in the Incidents folder and adds each customer’s details as a comment. The engineering lead sets the assignee and priority in Wrike, and support answers the customers from Gleap.
How to connect Wrike
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Wrike”.
- Pick Wrike under More integrations and click Connect Wrike.
- Sign in to Wrike in the popup and approve access.
- Open the new Wrike tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete task or Delete folder.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Wrike, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Wrike in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Wrike?
Yes, through Composio. Gleap’s custom agents can call Wrike actions such as Create task in folder, Create task comment and Get task by id. Gleap does not mirror tickets into Wrike on its own; each change comes from an agent run.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Wrike?
It can read folders, spaces and tasks, create tasks and comments, update task fields and read timelogs and approvals. In practice it turns customer reports into well-described tasks and tells your team where those tasks stand.
Which Gleap plan includes the Wrike integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Wrike toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. Connect a Wrike user with access to the folders the agent should write to. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent assign Wrike tasks to people?
Yes, if you leave Modify task switched on: it can set assignees, status and dates. Alternatively, let the agent suggest an owner in the ticket and keep the final assignment with the lead.
