Gleap AI agents can use ZoomInfo through Composio, for B2B teams that license ZoomInfo data and want support and product teams to know which companies are behind Gleap tickets and feature requests. A custom agent can enrich a company with firmographics, technologies and news, and every ZoomInfo action it can call is a search or an enrichment.
What a Gleap agent can do in ZoomInfo
- Company profile on a ticket: Company Enrich returns industry, size and location for the company behind a Gleap ticket, so the teammate knows who is asking.
- The customer’s technology stack: Technology Enrich lists technologies a company uses, which helps when a bug depends on the customer’s environment, such as their identity provider.
- Weighing feature requests: with Company Search and Company Enrich, the agent can add size and industry to the companies asking for a feature, next to the votes in Gleap.
- Recent news about an account: News Search and Scoop Search surface announcements such as funding or acquisitions that change an account’s situation.
Example: an SSO bug at a large account
A customer reports through the Gleap widget that single sign-on fails for part of their staff. A teammate asks the agent on the ticket what the company runs. The agent enriches the company in ZoomInfo, notes its size and the identity provider listed in its technology data, and posts that in the ticket’s agent chat. The support engineer confirms the setup with the customer before changing anything.
How to connect ZoomInfo
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use ZoomInfo, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “ZoomInfo” and select it.
- Create an OAuth app in ZoomInfo, paste its client ID and client secret into the form Gleap shows, add the redirect URI from that form to the app and click Save credentials.
- Click Connect Zoominfo, approve access in the sign-in window, then open the tool and switch off the searches the agent does not need.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with ZoomInfo?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use ZoomInfo through Composio’s ZoomInfo toolkit, which connects with your own ZoomInfo OAuth app. The agent queries ZoomInfo when it runs; ZoomInfo data is not stored on Gleap contacts automatically.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in ZoomInfo?
It can search companies, contacts, news and scoops, and enrich companies, contacts, intent, locations, news, scoops and technologies. The toolkit has no write actions, so the agent cannot change anything in ZoomInfo.
Which Gleap plan includes the ZoomInfo integration?
Custom agents that use ZoomInfo are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Your ZoomInfo contract decides which data and API credits the connection can use. AI usage in Gleap is billed separately; see pricing.
Should the agent enrich every ticket?
Probably not. Enrichment can count against your ZoomInfo allowance, and Contact Enrich brings personal data into the conversation. Tell the agent in its instructions which tickets need company context, such as feature requests or enterprise accounts, and switch off Contact Enrich if you do not need it.
