Connect RevenueCat and Kai Support answers your app users’ subscription questions with their real plan, status and purchases, right in the chat in your app. When someone wants to change or cancel, Kai sends the link where they manage the subscription in the App Store or Google Play.
What Kai does with RevenueCat
- Plan and status: Kai looks up the user’s in-app subscription and tells them which plan they have and whether it is active, in a trial or past due.
- Payment problems: Kai spots a billing issue, such as a renewal the store could not charge, and explains what the user needs to do.
- The management link: Kai sends the store’s own link to change or cancel the subscription.
- Your team sees the subscriber: the user’s subscriptions and purchases sit next to the conversation in the inbox.
How Kai finds the subscriber
Kai looks the user up by the signed-in user ID your app passes to Gleap with identity verification, the same app user ID you use in RevenueCat. In the inbox, Gleap also reads the custom data field revenuecatAppUserId and falls back to the contact’s user ID.
Connect RevenueCat
- Add RevenueCat under Integrations in your Gleap project.
- Paste a RevenueCat API key and your project ID.
- Ask Kai about a test user’s subscription in your app and check the answer.
FAQ
Which Gleap plan includes the RevenueCat integration?
Team, Pro and Enterprise; Team is $149 per month billed yearly, with unlimited seats. Kai Support is billed by the AI it uses, an estimated under $0.05 per resolution (how we estimate). Starter includes no integrations.
Can Kai cancel or refund an in-app subscription?
App Store and Google Play subscriptions are managed in the store, so Kai sends the user the store’s link to change or cancel. For web subscriptions in Stripe, Paddle, Chargebee or Lemon Squeezy, Kai can make the change itself once the customer confirms. See AI billing support.
