A Gleap custom agent can read Beamer posts, comments, reactions and feed details through Composio. It helps teams that announce product updates in Beamer and answer “is this fixed yet?” questions in Gleap.
What a Gleap agent can do in Beamer
- Find the announcement: Get Posts returns your Beamer posts, so the agent can find the update that answers a customer’s question.
- Read the reaction: Get Post Comments and Get Post Reactions show how users responded to an announcement.
- Share the feed: Get Feed returns the link to your standalone Beamer feed for a reply.
- Count engagement: Count Posts, Count Post Comments and Count Post Reactions give quick numbers for a release review.
Example: A question about a shipped fix
A customer asks in Gleap whether the calendar sync bug has been fixed. The teammate asks the agent to check. The agent searches Beamer posts, finds last week’s announcement of the fix and shares the post title and link in the ticket. The teammate confirms the fix is live for the customer’s account before replying with the link.
How to connect Beamer
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Beamer”.
- Pick Beamer under More integrations and click Connect Beamer.
- Paste your Beamer API key into the form Gleap shows and connect.
- Open the new Beamer tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Get Notifications, which marks notifications as read.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Beamer, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Beamer in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Beamer?
Yes, through Composio. The Beamer toolkit lets a Gleap custom agent read posts, categories, comments, reactions, notifications and feed details. It has no actions that create or edit posts.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Beamer?
It finds the announcement that answers a customer’s question and summarizes feedback on a release from comments and reactions. Your team writes the reply.
Which Gleap plan includes the Beamer integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Beamer toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. Connect with the API key of your Beamer account. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can we use Beamer with Gleap’s changelog?
Yes. Gleap has its own changelog and news, and you can keep Beamer for announcements alongside it. The agent reads Beamer posts either way; it does not copy posts between the two.
