Gleap AI agents can work with Google Calendar through Composio, for customer-facing teams on Google Workspace who schedule calls with customers and track their issues and requests in Gleap. A custom agent can find time for a call, create the event and prepare the account owner before a meeting with what Gleap knows about the customer.
What a Gleap agent can do in Google Calendar
- Time for a call: Find free slots checks the calendars of the people who should join, so the teammate on a Gleap ticket can propose a time that works.
- The invite with context: Create Event creates the calendar event with the ticket summary in the description, once a teammate confirms the time with the customer.
- A briefing before the meeting: with Google Calendar’s Event Starting Soon trigger, the agent can run before a customer meeting and collect the customer’s open Gleap tickets and feature requests for the host.
- Meetings already planned: Find event searches the calendar for an existing meeting with the customer before anyone books another one.
Example: a quarterly review with open tickets
An account manager has a quarterly review with a customer on Thursday. Thirty minutes before it starts, the Event Starting Soon trigger runs the agent, which finds the customer’s two open Gleap tickets and three feature requests with the Gleap tool. It opens a task for the account manager, through Request human input, with the status of each. The account manager decides what to raise in the meeting.
How to connect Google Calendar
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Google Calendar, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Google Calendar” and select it.
- Click Connect Google Calendar and approve access in the Google sign-in window for the calendar the agent should use.
- Open the Google Calendar tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as Delete event, Delete Calendar, Clear Calendar and the sharing rules.
- Add the Gleap tool and a Tool trigger if the agent should prepare meetings, then publish and test it in chat.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Google Calendar?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Google Calendar through Composio’s Google Calendar toolkit, connected with a Google sign-in. The agent reads and writes events when it runs, and calendar triggers such as Event Created or Event Starting Soon can start it.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Google Calendar?
It can find free slots and events, list and read calendars and events, create, update, move and delete events, manage calendars and sharing rules, and watch for changes. Creating or changing events can send invitations to customers, so keep those actions for agents that work with a teammate.
Which Gleap plan includes the Google Calendar integration?
Custom agents that use Google Calendar, including its tool triggers, are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Google Workspace sharing settings still decide whose calendars the agent can read. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent add a Google Meet link?
Use the Google Meet integration on the same agent to create a Meet space, then put the link into the event. The two toolkits connect separately, each with its own Google sign-in.
