Gleap AI agents can work with Google Meet through Composio, for teams on Google Workspace that hold support, onboarding or feedback calls in Meet and track the outcome in Gleap. A custom agent can create a Meet space for a ticket and read the transcript and recordings afterward, so the ticket reflects what was said.
What a Gleap agent can do in Google Meet
- A call link on request: Create Google Meet Space creates a Meet link when a teammate decides a ticket needs a call, and the agent shares it in the ticket’s agent chat.
- What was said: Get transcripts by conference record ID and List Transcript Entries read the call transcript, so the agent can summarize steps, errors and promises on the Gleap ticket.
- Recordings for engineering: List Recordings returns the recordings of a finished call, so an engineer can watch the part where the customer showed the bug.
- Who attended: List Participants shows who joined, which helps when a customer’s admin and end users were both on the call.
Example: an onboarding call with open questions
A new customer asks in the Gleap widget for help mapping their data fields. The teammate asks the agent on the ticket for a Meet link, and it creates a space and shares the link with the teammate, who sends it to the customer. After the call, the teammate asks the agent to summarize. The agent reads the transcript, lists the three fields still open and a feature the customer asked for, and the teammate decides what to send and which request to log.
How to connect Google Meet
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Google Meet, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Google Meet” and select it.
- Click Connect Google Meet and approve access in the Google sign-in window.
- Open the Google Meet tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as End active conference or Update Google Meet Space.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Google Meet?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Google Meet through Composio’s Google Meet toolkit, connected with a Google sign-in. The agent calls Meet when it runs; transcripts and recordings are not copied into Gleap unless the agent adds a summary.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Google Meet?
It can create and update Meet spaces, end an active conference, and read conference records, participants, participant sessions, recordings and transcripts. Transcripts and recordings exist only if they were turned on for the meeting in Google Workspace.
Which Gleap plan includes the Google Meet integration?
Custom agents that use Google Meet are part of the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Your Google Workspace edition decides whether recording and transcripts are available. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Does the agent add Meet links to calendar invites?
Not with this toolkit alone: a Meet space is not attached to a calendar event. Add the Google Calendar integration to the same agent if it should also create the invite.
