A Gleap custom agent can work with Kit (formerly ConvertKit) subscribers, tags, forms, sequences and broadcasts through Composio. It helps creators and SaaS teams whose subscribers reply to newsletters or ask support about their emails.
What a Gleap agent can do in Kit
- Check a subscriber: Get Subscriber and Get Subscriber Stats show the subscriber’s details and email engagement, including opens, clicks and bounces.
- Tag from support: Tag Subscriber by Email and Untag Subscriber by Email keep interests current, for example after a customer says which topics they want.
- Handle unsubscribes: Delete Subscriber unsubscribes a person from all Kit emails when they ask for it in a ticket.
- Answer questions about a send: Get Broadcast Stats shows how a broadcast performed when several readers report a broken link.
Example: “Where is my download link?”
A reader writes in Gleap that they signed up for a guide but never got the email with the download link. The teammate asks the agent to check. The agent finds the subscriber, reads their email stats and sees a bounce on the delivery address. The teammate asks the reader to confirm their address and updates it after they reply.
How to connect Kit
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Kit”.
- Pick Kit under More integrations and click Connect Kit.
- Sign in to Kit in the popup and approve access. If Gleap asks for a Kit API key instead, paste the key.
- Open the new Kit tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Create Broadcast or Delete Tag.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Kit, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Kit in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Kit?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can read and update subscribers, tags, custom fields, forms and sequences and read broadcasts and their stats. Kit changes only when an agent run calls these actions.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Kit?
It answers subscriber questions from support with Kit data, applies tag changes and unsubscribes people who ask. Sending broadcasts stays with your team.
Which Gleap plan includes the Kit integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Kit toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. You authorize Kit in the popup, or with an API key if Gleap asks for one. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent create broadcasts?
Create Broadcast can save a draft, schedule a send or publish right away. Keep it off, or allow it only for drafts that a person reviews and schedules in Kit.
