A Gleap custom agent can read LinkedIn organization and post statistics and create posts and comments through Composio. It helps product marketing teams that announce releases on LinkedIn and track the response next to customer feedback in Gleap.
What a Gleap agent can do in LinkedIn
- Publish an approved release post: Create a LinkedIn post publishes to the company page once a teammate approves the text in an Ask for a decision card.
- Report on a post: Get share statistics returns impressions, clicks, likes, comments and shares for your organization’s posts.
- Track the page: Get organization page statistics shows page views and other engagement for your company page.
- Read the conversation: Get post content and List reactions on entity show what a post said and how people reacted.
Example: Announcing a feature customers asked for
A feature request with many votes in Gleap ships, and the team wants to announce it. The product marketer asks the agent for a LinkedIn post based on the release note. The agent drafts the text in the ticket, the marketer edits and approves it, and the agent publishes it to the company page. A week later the marketer asks the agent for the post’s statistics.
How to connect LinkedIn
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “LinkedIn”.
- Pick LinkedIn under More integrations and click Connect LinkedIn.
- Sign in to LinkedIn in the popup with an account that manages your company page, and approve access.
- Open the new LinkedIn tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete LinkedIn Post or Create comment on LinkedIn post.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use LinkedIn, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use LinkedIn in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with LinkedIn?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can create posts and comments, read post content, reactions and statistics and look up the organizations the connected account manages. Nothing is posted unless an agent run calls a posting action.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in LinkedIn?
It helps turn shipped customer requests into approved LinkedIn announcements and reports how they performed. The toolkit has no action for direct messages.
Which Gleap plan includes the LinkedIn integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the LinkedIn toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. The connected LinkedIn account needs a role on the company page to post for it. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
How do we stop the agent from posting on its own?
Give it the Ask for a decision tool and tell it in its instructions to publish only after approval, or leave Create a LinkedIn post off and copy the approved text yourself. Posts are public, so keep a person in that step.
