Composio’s Userlist toolkit gives a Gleap custom agent two actions: push a user and company relationship, and delete a company. It is a narrow connection for SaaS teams that send lifecycle email with Userlist and learn about account changes in Gleap conversations.
What a Gleap agent can do in Userlist
- Link a user to their company: Push User-Company Relationship creates or updates the relationship, for example when a customer writes from a new team account.
- Keep company messaging accurate: With the right relationships, Userlist’s company-based campaigns reach the people who belong to each account.
- Clean up after an account closes: Delete Company from Userlist removes a company once your team confirms the account is gone.
Example: A new admin takes over an account
A customer writes in Gleap that they replaced their colleague as the account admin. The teammate confirms the change in the product and asks the agent to update Userlist. The agent pushes the relationship between the new admin and the company, and the lifecycle emails for that account now reach the right person. The teammate replies to the customer.
How to connect Userlist
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “Userlist”.
- Pick Userlist under More integrations and click Connect Userlist.
- Paste your Userlist push API key into the form Gleap shows and connect.
- Open the new Userlist tool and switch off Delete Company from Userlist unless the agent should remove companies.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use Userlist, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use Userlist in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Userlist?
Yes, through Composio. The Userlist toolkit has two actions, Push User-Company Relationship and Delete Company from Userlist, which a Gleap custom agent can call during a run.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Userlist?
It keeps user and company relationships in Userlist up to date based on what support learns, and it can remove a company when you allow it. It cannot read Userlist data or send messages.
Which Gleap plan includes the Userlist integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the Userlist toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. The agent needs your Userlist push API key. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Why so few Userlist actions?
That is what Composio currently exposes for Userlist. For other Userlist API calls, a custom agent can use Gleap’s API call tool with your own endpoint settings.
