Gleap AI agents can work in Zoho CRM through Composio, for teams that manage accounts and deals in Zoho CRM and handle support, bug reports and feature requests in Gleap. A custom agent can pull the account and deal behind a Gleap ticket and leave notes and tags that sales and account managers see.
What a Gleap agent can do in Zoho CRM
- Account context on a ticket: Search Zoho CRM Contacts finds the person behind a Gleap ticket, and Get Zoho CRM Related Records shows the account’s deals, notes and emails.
- Notes on the record: Create Note in Zoho CRM adds a note to the contact or account, for example with a summary of a reported bug and its status in Gleap.
- Tags for patterns: Create Zoho CRM Tag and Update Zoho CRM Record let the agent tag accounts affected by the same issue, so sales can filter for them.
- Deals at a glance: List Deals and Update Zoho CRM Deal give the agent the deal stage, and your team can allow updates if the agent should record support risk on the deal.
Example: a feature request from a large account
A customer admin requests audit logs through the Gleap feature request board and mentions that their security review depends on it. A teammate asks the agent on the request to check Zoho CRM. The agent finds the account, reads the open deal and its stage, and adds a note in Zoho CRM that links the request to the deal. The product team decides the priority, and the account owner decides what to promise the customer.
How to connect Zoho CRM
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation, then Agents, and select the custom agent that should use Zoho CRM, or click Create agent.
- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Zoho” and select Zoho, the Zoho CRM toolkit.
- Click Connect Zoho and approve access in the Zoho sign-in window.
- Open the Zoho tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as Delete Zoho CRM Contact, Delete Zoho CRM Deal or Convert Zoho CRM Lead.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Zoho CRM?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Zoho CRM through Composio’s Zoho toolkit, connected with Zoho’s OAuth sign-in. The agent reads and writes Zoho CRM when it runs; there is no scheduled sync between Zoho CRM and Gleap contacts.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Zoho CRM?
It can search and read contacts, accounts, leads, deals, notes, tasks, calls and events, create records, notes, tags and email drafts, update records, deals and notes, convert leads and delete contacts or deals. Keep the delete and convert actions off unless a person has asked for them.
Which Gleap plan includes the Zoho CRM integration?
Custom agents that use Zoho CRM belong to the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Zoho CRM profiles and sharing rules for the connected user still apply. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Does this cover Zoho Desk or Zoho Books too?
No. This page covers the Zoho CRM toolkit. Composio offers separate toolkits for other Zoho apps, such as the Zoho Desk integration, and each connects as its own tool with its own sign-in.
