Gleap AI agents can work in Zoho Desk through Composio, for teams that run their help desk in Zoho and collect in-app bug reports and feedback with Gleap. A custom agent can read a customer’s Zoho Desk tickets, open new ones in the right department and update them, within the actions your team allows.
What a Gleap agent can do in Zoho Desk
- Ticket history for a reporter: Search and List Tickets find the customer’s Zoho Desk tickets, and Get Ticket Thread reads the latest exchange for the teammate on the Gleap ticket.
- Tickets in the right department: with List Departments and Create Ticket, the agent opens a Zoho Desk ticket from a Gleap report in the department that owns the issue.
- Earlier resolutions: Get Ticket Resolution shows how Zoho Desk resolved a similar ticket, so the teammate knows whether the problem came up before.
- Status after the fix: Update Ticket changes the Zoho Desk ticket once a teammate confirms in Gleap that the fix is live.
Example: the same error in two places
A user at a customer company reports an import error through the Gleap widget, while their admin has already opened a Zoho Desk ticket about it. A teammate asks the agent on the Gleap ticket to check Zoho Desk. The agent finds the admin’s ticket, reads the latest thread and posts a short summary with the ticket number in the Gleap ticket’s agent chat. The teammate decides whether to answer both people together and from which tool.
How to connect Zoho Desk

- Under Tools, click Add tool, search for “Zoho Desk” and select it.
- Click Connect Zoho Desk and approve access in the Zoho sign-in window.
- Open the Zoho Desk tool and switch off every action the agent should not use, such as Update Account or Update Many Tasks.
- Publish the agent and test it in chat before you turn on a trigger.
Custom agents are on the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Zoho Desk?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Zoho Desk through Composio’s Zoho Desk toolkit, connected with Zoho’s OAuth sign-in. The agent works with Zoho Desk while it runs; tickets are not mirrored between the two tools.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Zoho Desk?
It can search and read tickets, threads, conversations, history and resolutions, list contacts, accounts, agents and departments, create contacts and tickets, and update tickets. Each action runs with the Zoho account you connected, and your team switches off whatever the agent should not touch.
Which Gleap plan includes the Zoho Desk integration?
A custom agent that uses Zoho Desk needs the Team, Pro or Enterprise plan, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Zoho’s own permissions for the connected user still apply. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent create tickets in a specific Zoho Desk department?
Yes. Create Ticket takes a department, and List Departments lets the agent look up the right one. Name the department in the agent’s instructions so each ticket lands where your team expects it.
