Mini at $45 a month adds 4 seats, a shared email inbox, shortcuts, chat triggers, a custom email domain and unlimited data retention. Essentials at $95 adds 10 seats, an omnichannel inbox with WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, Line and Viber, a workflow automation builder, the AI chatbot across channels, a knowledge base, analytics and routing rules. Plus at $295 adds 20 or more seats, a ticketing system, more than 100 integrations, white labeling and advanced analytics. Crisp shows monthly prices; you can switch to yearly billing in the app after you subscribe, but the pricing page shows no yearly price.
Intercom. Essential includes the Messenger, a shared inbox, ticketing, a help center and pre-built reports. Advanced adds multiple inboxes, workflow automation, round robin assignment, a multilingual help center and 20 free Lite seats. Expert adds SSO and identity management, HIPAA support, SLAs, multibrand features and 50 free Lite seats. Billed monthly, the plans cost $39, $99 and $139 per seat. AI agents: Hugo credits versus Fin outcomes
Crisp. Each paid plan includes AI credits for Hugo, Crisp’s AI agent: $5 a month on Mini, which Crisp says covers about 90 automated conversations, $25 on Essentials (about 450) and $75 on Plus (about 1,350). That works out to roughly $0.06 per automated conversation by Crisp’s own estimate. The Free plan has no AI credits, and the pricing page does not show the price of credits beyond the included amount.
Intercom. Fin costs $0.99 per outcome, at most one per conversation. An outcome is a resolution or a completed handoff Procedure you configured. Fin also works with other help desks at $0.99 per outcome with a 50-outcome monthly minimum (Fin pricing). Copilot, the assistant for agents, costs $29 per agent a month billed annually, and each agent gets 10 free Copilot conversations a month.
The two prices are not directly comparable. Crisp includes a small AI allowance in a cheap plan; Intercom publishes a per-outcome price that scales with volume.
Channels and extras
Crisp’s omnichannel inbox, with WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS, Line and Viber, starts on Essentials; Mini covers website chat and email. Intercom’s plans include live chat through the Messenger, support email and in-app messaging. Intercom sells product tours, surveys and outbound campaigns as Proactive Support Plus for $99 a month, and a Pro add-on with advanced analytics for $99 a month.
What a team pays
These examples use list prices from October 3, 2026, before tax. Crisp’s prices are monthly; Intercom’s are billed annually. The Intercom rows assume 300 Fin outcomes a month, which is our assumption.
| Team | Plan | Calculation | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 seats, about 90 AI conversations | Crisp Mini | $45, AI credits included | $45 |
| 4 seats, 300 Fin outcomes | Intercom Essential | 4 × $29 + 300 × $0.99 | $413 |
| 10 seats, about 450 AI conversations | Crisp Essentials | $95, AI credits included | $95 |
| 10 seats, 300 Fin outcomes | Intercom Advanced | 10 × $85 + 300 × $0.99 | $1,147 |
If your AI volume is higher than Crisp’s included credits, add the price of extra credits from Crisp, which its pricing page does not list.

A third option for software teams
If you build software and many conversations end in a bug report or a feature request, Gleap is a third option. It is AI-native customer support for software teams, priced per workspace like Crisp. As of October 2026, Gleap Free costs $0 with one seat and 50 tickets a month, Team costs $149 a month billed annually ($179 monthly) and Pro $299 ($359 monthly), both with unlimited seats, and Enterprise starts at $999. Team and Pro include all of Gleap’s agents.
