Help your team find the document that moves a customer conversation forward. Google Drive tools through Composio let a Gleap Custom Agent locate accessible files and inspect their metadata as part of a defined workflow.
Find the right file
The toolkit’s file search supports names, folders, file types, and date filters. A customer onboarding agent could use those criteria to find the implementation checklist for a particular product or account.
Once it has a file ID, the agent can retrieve details about that file. Use a designated folder and a naming convention to keep the lookup focused on material your team maintains for that purpose.
Separate finding from reading
Finding a file or reading its metadata does not by itself read the document’s contents. Workflows that need the text also need a suitable content-retrieval tool for that file type. Make that distinction when you define what the agent should answer and what it should return as a file reference.
Connect Google Drive from your custom agent’s tools, authorize the intended account, and inspect the actions available to that connection. Check a known file in the target folder. Its existing access permissions still determine who can open it.
