A Gleap custom agent can search OneDrive, read SharePoint pages and lists and upload or share files through Composio. It helps teams on Microsoft 365 whose policies, specs and customer files live in OneDrive and SharePoint.
What a Gleap agent can do in OneDrive
- Find the document: Search Items searches file names, metadata and content in the connected OneDrive.
- Read internal guidance: Get SharePoint Site Page Content returns the content of a SharePoint page, such as an escalation policy, before the agent briefs a teammate.
- Share with the team: Create Sharing Link makes a link to a file for the ticket.
- Start from file changes: Tool triggers such as OneDrive File Created Trigger or File Updated can start the agent when a watched folder changes.
Example: Which version of the spec is current?
A customer asks support in Gleap whether the API rate limits in their onboarding pack are still valid. The teammate asks the agent to check. The agent searches OneDrive for the API spec, compares the versions with Get Item Versions and reads the SharePoint page where engineering records limit changes. It reports the current numbers, and the teammate answers the customer.
How to connect OneDrive
- In Gleap, open AI & Automation > Agents and select a custom agent, or create one.
- In its Tools section, click Add tool and search for “OneDrive”.
- Pick OneDrive under More integrations and click Connect OneDrive.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account in the popup and approve access.
- Open the new OneDrive tool and switch off every action the agent does not need, such as Delete Drive Item Permission or Grant Shares Permission.
- Tell the agent in its instructions when to use OneDrive, then test it in chat.
Custom agents are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans. Kai Support can use connected apps as tools on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Code, also on those plans, can use OneDrive in coding sessions once you add it under Settings > MCP in Kai Code.
FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with OneDrive?
Yes, through Composio. A Gleap custom agent can search, read, upload, download and share OneDrive files and read SharePoint sites, lists and pages. It uses OneDrive only during an agent run.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in OneDrive?
It finds the current document behind a customer question, reads internal SharePoint guidance and shares files with your team. People decide what customers receive.
Which Gleap plan includes the OneDrive integration?
Kai Support and Kai Code can use the OneDrive toolkit on Team, Pro and Enterprise; custom agents that use it are on Team, Pro and Enterprise. Kai Support answers customers, so switch on only actions that are safe in a customer conversation. The Microsoft account you connect decides which drives and sites the agent can see. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Does the agent see SharePoint too?
Yes, where the connected account has access. The toolkit reads SharePoint site pages, lists and drives, such as an internal policy site.
