Gleap AI agents can work in Plain through Composio, for B2B teams that run customer support in Plain and capture in-app bug reports and feature requests with Gleap. A custom agent can find the customer and company in Plain, open threads and keep customer groups current, limited to the Plain actions your team leaves switched on.
What a Gleap agent can do in Plain
- The account behind a report: Get Customer By Email finds the Plain customer who sent a Gleap bug report, and Fetch Company and Fetch Tier show their company and support tier.
- Open threads at a glance: List Threads and Get Thread By ID show what the customer already discussed with your support team in Plain.
- Threads for your support queue: Create Thread opens a Plain thread from a Gleap report, so the support team can follow up in the tool they work in.
- Groups of affected customers: Add Customer To Group collects every customer hit by the same bug in one Plain customer group.
- Linked issues: Fetch Issues lists the Jira, Linear or GitHub issues already attached to the customer’s Plain threads.
Example: a bug that affects several accounts
Three B2B customers report the same SSO error through the Gleap widget within an hour. A teammate asks the agent on one of the Gleap tickets to prepare the follow-up in Plain. The agent looks up each reporter by email, checks their tier and adds them to a Plain customer group for the SSO incident. The support lead decides who gets a proactive message first, and the agent does not write to customers.

FAQ
Does Gleap integrate with Plain?
Yes. Gleap AI agents use Plain through Composio’s Plain toolkit, which authenticates with a Plain API key. The agent reads and writes Plain data during its runs; nothing is synchronized in the background.
What can a Gleap AI agent do in Plain?
It can fetch customers, companies, tiers and threads, create threads, upsert customers and companies, manage customer groups, rename threads and send messages in a thread. Run GraphQL Query can reach almost anything in the Plain API, so keep it off unless the agent needs it.
Which Gleap plan includes the Plain integration?
Custom agents that call Plain are included in the Team, Pro and Enterprise plans, and Kai Support can use connected apps as tools in its customer conversations on Team, Pro and Enterprise. The Plain API key decides which workspace the agent reaches. AI usage is billed separately; see pricing.
Can the agent tell which customers matter most?
It can read the data you keep in Plain: Fetch Tier returns the customer’s tier and Fetch Company returns company details such as contract value. Your instructions decide how the agent uses that, for example to mention the tier in its summary. Priority decisions stay with your team.
