Gorgias pricing is based on tickets, not agents. Starter costs $10 a month for 50 tickets, Basic $50 a month for 300 tickets, Pro $300 for 2,000 and Advanced $750 for 5,000, billed annually (Gorgias pricing, checked October 3, 2026). The AI Agent is an add-on billed per automated interaction, and every interaction also counts as a ticket.
This guide covers what each plan includes, how overage and the AI Agent are billed, the trial and what three example stores pay. All prices are USD list prices from Gorgias’s own pages, as of October 2026. If your support is for a software product rather than a store, the Gleap and Gorgias comparison and Gleap pricing cover that side.
Gorgias plans and prices
| Plan | Billed annually, per month | Billed monthly | Tickets included each month | Extra tickets |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Not offered | $10 | 50 | $0.40 each |
| Basic | $50 ($600 a year) | $60 | 300 | $0.40 each |
| Pro | $300 ($3,600 a year) | $360 | 2,000 | $0.36 each |
| Advanced | $750 ($9,000 a year) | $900 | 5,000 | $0.36 each |
| Enterprise | Quoted by Gorgias | Quoted by Gorgias | Above 5,000 | Quoted |
Starter includes 3 user seats and the other plans 500, so the team size rarely matters. Gorgias marks Pro as its most popular plan.
What counts as a billable ticket
Gorgias bills any ticket with at least one message sent from the helpdesk, whether a teammate, the AI Agent or a rule sent it (Gorgias help center, checked October 3, 2026). A question your team reads and closes without replying is not billed; an automatic reply is.
That makes rules and auto-replies a cost line. An auto-acknowledgement on every incoming email turns every email into a billable ticket.
How Gorgias charges for the AI Agent
The AI Agent is an add-on to each plan, with a monthly allowance of automated interactions:
| Plan with AI Agent | Billed annually, per month | Billed monthly | Automated interactions included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Not offered | $40 | 30 |
| Basic | $77 | $90 | 30 |
| Pro | $471 | $550 | 190 |
| Advanced | $1,227 | $1,430 | 530 |
Subtracting the plan price, the add-on works out to $0.90 per interaction on annual billing, for example $171 for 190 interactions on Pro, and $1.00 on monthly billing. The plan comparison table on the same page lists $0.85 for Advanced, so confirm the rate for your plan. Interactions above the allowance cost $1.50 each, according to the pricing page.
Two rules change the math:
- Each automated interaction is also a ticket. It uses your ticket allowance as well as the AI allowance.
- Human follow-up. If an agent replies within 72 hours of an AI resolution, the conversation is billed only as a helpdesk ticket, not as an automated interaction.
Voice and SMS are add-ons on Basic and above, priced in tiers by voice or SMS ticket volume.
What a Gorgias store pays
These examples use annual list prices from October 3, 2026, before tax and Voice or SMS.
Monthly Gorgias total for three example stores
| Store | Plan and usage | Calculation | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small store | Basic, 300 tickets | $50 | $50 |
| Growing store | Pro with AI Agent, 2,000 tickets including 190 AI interactions | $471 | $471 |
| Busy store | Pro with AI Agent, 2,500 tickets including 400 AI interactions | $300 + $171 + 210 × $1.50 + 500 × $0.36 | $966 |
In the busy store, the AI Agent costs more than the plan: $171 for the allowance plus $315 for the 210 interactions above it. Those 400 interactions also count toward the 2,500 tickets, which is why the store pays $180 in ticket overage too.
Free trial and discounts
Gorgias offers a 7-day free trial, and its pricing page says no payment details are needed. There is no free plan. Annual billing costs about 17% less than monthly billing on Basic, Pro and Advanced.
When Gorgias is worth the price
Gorgias fits online stores. It shows order data from the store platform next to each ticket, so agents and the AI Agent can answer “where is my order” and process changes without switching tools, and ticket-based pricing means seasonal staff do not add seat costs.
It fits less well when volume swings: tickets above the plan cost $0.36 to $0.40 each and AI interactions above the allowance $1.50. It is also built for commerce, so software teams will miss bug reports with technical context and a path to engineering.
How Gorgias pricing compares with Gleap
Gleap is AI-native customer support for software teams, not for online stores. If you run a Shopify store, Gorgias is the better fit. If you sell software, Gleap prices the workspace: as of October 2026, Free costs $0 with one seat and 50 tickets a month, Team costs $149 a month billed annually ($179 monthly) and Pro $299 ($359 monthly), both with unlimited seats and unlimited tickets, and Enterprise starts at $999. New workspaces get a 7-day free trial, no credit card required.
| Gorgias | Gleap | |
|---|---|---|
| Price basis | Monthly tickets | Per workspace, unlimited tickets on Team and Pro |
| AI agent | About $0.90 to $1.00 per automated interaction in the allowance, $1.50 above it | Kai Support, $0.29 per resolution, charged once per conversation it resolves |
| Included AI credit | Allowance bought with the add-on | $25 a month on Team, $100 on Pro |
| Built for | Ecommerce stores | Software teams |
Team and Pro include all of Gleap’s agents: Kai Support answers customers, Kai Specialist investigates hard tickets with screen recordings, console and network logs, account data and your code, billed by the work it does (about $0.49 per investigation on average), and Kai Code opens pull requests your team reviews. Bug reports from your app arrive with a marked screenshot and logs through in-app bug reporting.
