Sentry pricing starts at $0 for one developer. Team costs $26 a month and Business $80 a month when billed annually, both with unlimited users, and Enterprise is priced by Sentry’s sales team (Sentry pricing, checked October 3, 2026). Each plan includes a monthly quota of errors, spans, replays and logs. Usage beyond the quota is billed as reserved volume or pay-as-you-go, and Seer, Sentry’s AI debugger, is a separate subscription at $40 per active contributor a month.
This guide covers what each plan includes, what extra usage costs, how Seer is billed, the free programs and what three example teams pay. All prices are USD list prices from Sentry’s own pages, as of October 2026. If you are comparing tools for customer-reported bugs, the Sentry alternative page and Gleap pricing cover the other side.
Sentry plans and prices
| Plan | Per month, billed annually | Billed monthly | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Developer | $0 | $0 | One user, email alerts, 10 custom dashboards, MCP access, 30-day lookback |
| Team | $26 | $29 | Unlimited users, API and third-party integrations, 20 dashboards, up to 90-day lookback |
| Business | $80 | $89 | Unlimited dashboards, advanced quota management, SAML and SCIM, extra sampled retention |
| Enterprise | Quoted by sales | Quoted by sales | A technical account manager and dedicated support |
Sentry prices the organization, not the seat: Team and Business include unlimited users. The annual price assumes Sentry’s default prepaid data, and the monthly prices come from the price data on Sentry’s pricing page. Sentry also mentions further discounts for annual and prepaid billing at checkout without naming a figure.
What every plan includes
| Included each month | Developer | Team | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Errors | 5k | 50k | 50k |
| Spans (tracing) | 5M | 5M | 5M |
| Session replays | 50 | 50 | 50 |
| Logs and application metrics | 5GB each | 5GB each | 5GB each |
| Attachments | 1GB | 1GB | 1GB |
| Uptime and cron monitors | 1 each | 1 each | 1 each |
| Metric monitors | 20 | 20 | 1,000 |
Profiling is not part of the included quota; it is pay-as-you-go only. New users get 5,000 free replays a month for their first three months, a launch offer listed on the pricing page.
The quota is the part to check first. A product with real traffic usually passes 50k errors or 50 replays quickly, so the base price is rarely the whole bill.
What extra usage costs
Sentry sells usage beyond the quota in two ways (Sentry pricing docs, checked October 3, 2026):
- Reserved volume. You prepay for a monthly amount at a lower rate. Unused reserved volume expires at the end of the month.
- Pay-as-you-go. You set a budget, and usage draws on it at a higher rate. Data beyond the budget is dropped, not billed. On annual plans, pay-as-you-go usage is billed monthly.
| Data type | Reserved | Pay-as-you-go | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Errors on Team, 50k to 100k | $0.00029 each | $0.0003625 each | Falls to $0.00012 reserved above 20M |
| Errors on Business, 50k to 100k | $0.00089 each | $0.0011125 each | Falls to $0.00024 reserved above 20M |
| Spans on Team, 5M to 100M | $0.0000016 each | $0.000002 each | Business pays twice the Team rate |
| Replays, 50 to 5k | $0.003 each | $0.00375 each | Same on Team and Business; falls with volume |
| Logs and application metrics | Not offered | $0.50 per GB | |
| Attachments | $0.25 per GB | $0.3125 per GB | |
| Cron and uptime monitors | $0.78 and $1.00 per monitor | ||
| Profiling | $0.0315 per continuous hour, $0.25 per UI hour |
Errors cost about three times more per event on Business than on Team, so a high-volume product on Business pays for that plan twice: once in the base price and again in the overage.
How Sentry charges for Seer
Seer is Sentry’s AI debugging agent. Sentry lists root cause analysis, fix generation, and error prediction with code review as its features. It costs $40 per active contributor per month on Team or Business, billed separately and outside the pay-as-you-go budget. An active contributor is anyone who opens two or more pull requests in a repository with Seer enabled (Sentry pricing docs).
That makes Seer a per-developer cost. Ten engineers who each open a couple of pull requests a month add $400, whatever the error volume. The earlier Seer plan, with a monthly fee plus $1 per fix run, closed to new subscribers in January 2026.
Free trials and discounts
- Business trial: new accounts get a 14-day Business trial and return to the free Developer plan afterwards. Each product can also be tried once for 14 days with unlimited events, and Seer has its own trial.
- Startups: Sentry’s startup program offers up to $5,000 in credits that expire one year after joining. The page names no eligibility rules.
- Nonprofits and open source: registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits and open-source projects with a permissive license such as MIT or Apache can get a sponsored account with large monthly quotas, including 5M errors and 100K replays.
- Education: students get a free year through the GitHub Student Developer Pack.
What a Sentry team pays
These examples use reserved prices billed annually, as of October 3, 2026, before tax.
Monthly Sentry total for three example teams
| Team | Plan and usage | Calculation | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small team, inside the quota | Team | $26 | $26 |
| Growing product | Team, 100k errors, 5,000 replays, Seer for 5 contributors | $26 + 50k × $0.00029 + 4,950 × $0.003 + 5 × $40 | $255.35 |
| Larger team with SSO | Business, 100k errors, Seer for 10 contributors | $80 + 50k × $0.00089 + 10 × $40 | $524.50 |
Two lines grow over time. Event volume grows with traffic, and the rate per error depends on the plan. Seer grows with the number of engineers who open pull requests, so it scales with the team, not with the bugs.
When Sentry is worth the price
Sentry fits teams that want errors, tracing, profiling, logs and replays from their own code in one place, with alerts when a release breaks something. The free plan and the low Team price make it easy to start, and unlimited users on paid plans mean the whole engineering team can work in it.
It fits less well as the only view of what customers experience. An exception tells you something crashed; it does not tell you that a customer could not find the export button, that a layout broke on their screen or that a workflow does what the code says but not what the customer expected. Those problems reach you as support conversations.
Sentry and Gleap: different jobs
Gleap is AI-native customer support for software teams, and it does not replace Sentry’s error monitoring, tracing or profiling. It covers the other half: bugs customers see and report. With in-app bug reporting, a report from your web or mobile app arrives as a ticket with a marked screenshot, console and network logs and device data, and on Team and Pro a session replay. Your team answers the customer in the same conversation.
As of October 2026, Gleap Free costs $0 with one seat and 50 tickets a month. Team costs $149 a month billed annually ($179 monthly) and Pro $299 ($359 monthly), both with unlimited seats, and Enterprise starts at $999. Team and Pro include all agents: Kai Support answers customers for $0.29 per resolution, Kai Specialist investigates a ticket with screen recordings, console and network logs, account data and your code, billed by the work it does (about $0.49 per investigation on average), and Kai Code opens a pull request that your team reviews. Every new workspace starts with a 7-day free trial, no credit card required.
The two overlap in one place: both offer an AI that looks at code. Seer starts from an exception Sentry caught. Kai Specialist starts from a customer ticket. Teams that run both send production errors to Sentry and customer reports to Gleap. If you are also weighing product analytics, our PostHog pricing guide breaks down the other common developer bill, and the list of bug reporting tools compares the customer-facing side.
