Tidio pricing starts with a free plan. Starter costs $29 a month on monthly billing, or $24.17 a month billed annually, for 100 billable conversations. Growth starts at $59 a month ($49.17 billed annually) for 250 billable conversations and rises with volume, and Lyro AI Agent is billed separately per AI conversation (Tidio pricing, checked September 26, 2026).
Tidio prices conversations, not seats: Free, Starter and Growth all include 10 seats. This guide explains how Tidio counts conversations, what Lyro AI costs and what three example teams pay. If you are weighing a switch, the Gleap and Tidio comparison and Gleap pricing cover the other side.
Tidio plans and prices
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 billable conversations a month, 10 seats, 100 visitors reached with Flows, 50 Lyro conversations once |
| Starter | $29 a month | $24.17 a month | 100 billable conversations a month, 10 seats, 100 visitors reached with Flows, 50 Lyro conversations once |
| Growth | From $59 a month | From $49.17 a month | 250 to 2,000 billable conversations a month, 10 seats |
| Plus | From $300 a month plus usage | Quoted by sales | Custom conversation volume and seats, lower usage rates as you scale |
| Premium | Quoted by sales | Quoted by sales | From 3,000 Lyro conversations, a guaranteed 50% Lyro resolution rate and a pay-per-resolution option |
Annual billing gives two months free, which Tidio describes as about 17% less than paying month to month.
Growth is priced by the volume you choose. On monthly billing, 250 billable conversations cost $59 a month, 600 cost $129, 1,000 cost $179 and 2,000 cost $349. Above 2,000 billable conversations a month, Tidio asks you to contact sales for a custom plan.
What Tidio counts as a conversation
Two meters drive a Tidio bill:
- Billable conversations. Any live chat, ticket, email or social media conversation that includes a message from a human agent on your team. A conversation counts once however many messages it has. Messages you never answer do not count, and replies from Lyro or Flows are not agent replies.
- Lyro conversations. A conversation in any connected channel with at least one reply from Lyro, Tidio’s AI agent. It counts once even if Lyro replies a dozen times or the customer comes back later.
A conversation that Lyro starts and a person finishes can therefore count on both meters.
How Lyro AI is priced
Every Tidio account gets 50 Lyro conversations once, for the lifetime of the account. To refresh the limit every month, you buy a Lyro AI Agent plan. On monthly billing:
| Lyro conversations a month | Price a month | Per conversation |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | $39 | $0.78 |
| 100 | $75 | $0.75 |
| 200 | $140 | $0.70 |
| 500 | $350 | $0.70 |
| 1,000 | $700 | $0.70 |
Annual billing lowers these by two months a year: 50 conversations cost $32.50 a month billed annually. The Lyro limit refreshes every 30 days from your payment date. Plus offers custom Lyro volumes, and Premium starts at 3,000 Lyro conversations with a pay-per-resolution option.
Flows, Tidio’s rule-based automation, is priced separately by visitors reached: the first 100 a month are free, and paid tiers start at $29 a month for 2,000 visitors on monthly billing.
What a Tidio team pays
These examples use monthly list prices from September 26, 2026, before tax. Annual billing takes two months off each year.
Monthly Tidio total for three example teams
| Team | Plan and add-ons | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|
| Small store, AI answers first | Starter (100 billable conversations) + Lyro 100 | $29 + $75 = $104 |
| Growing support team | Growth (600 billable conversations) + Lyro 500 | $129 + $350 = $479 |
| Busy team at the top of Growth | Growth (2,000 billable conversations) + Lyro 1,000 | $349 + $700 = $1,049 |
Past these volumes, Tidio offers custom quotas on Plus, which starts at $300 a month before usage, and on Premium.
Free trial
Paid features come with a 7-day free trial. At the end of the trial the account moves to the Free plan unless you upgrade.
When Tidio is worth the price
Tidio fits small teams and online businesses that want live chat, an AI agent and sales Flows at a low entry price, and that answer a few hundred conversations a month. The free plan and 10 included seats make it easy to start.
It fits less well when volume climbs, because both meters grow with every conversation, or when your support work is about a software product and needs bug reports, feature requests and engineering handoffs.
How Tidio pricing compares with Gleap
Gleap prices the workspace, not the conversations your team answers. As of October 2026, Gleap Starter costs $29 per month billed annually ($35 monthly) with one seat, Team costs $149 per month billed annually ($179 monthly) with unlimited seats and projects and every agent, Pro costs $299 ($359 monthly) with advanced reports, LLM model choice, the SOC 2 report and priority support, and Enterprise starts at $999 per month. Kai Support, Gleap’s AI support agent, is on every plan. Kai Support costs $0.29 per resolution on every plan.
| Tidio | Gleap | |
|---|---|---|
| Price basis | Billable conversations a month, 10 seats on Free, Starter and Growth | Per workspace per month, unlimited seats on Team and up |
| AI agent billing | Lyro conversations, from $0.70 to $0.78 each on monthly plans | Kai Support, $0.29 per resolution on every plan |
| Free plan | Yes | No; 7-day free trial on every plan, Starter from $29/month |
| Bug reports and feature requests from your app | Not listed in Tidio’s plans | Bug reports on every plan; feature requests from Team |
The trade-offs are real. Tidio is cheaper for a small team with low volume, and its free plan includes 10 seats. Gleap Starter has one seat and one project, and email, the knowledge base, the feature roadmap and integrations need Team. On every plan, AI usage comes on top: Kai Support at $0.29 per resolution, Kai Resolve, Kai Code and Kai PM by the work they do. Estimate it with your own ticket volume; the pricing page shows the prices.
Gleap is built for software teams. Bug reports from your app carry a screenshot and technical details, feature requests collect votes on a public roadmap, and on Team and up, Kai Resolve investigates hard tickets and prepares coding tasks that your engineers review. The Tidio comparison lists both products side by side.
