Freshdesk pricing starts at $19 per agent per month on the Growth plan, billed annually. Pro costs $55 and Enterprise $89 per agent per month. Freshdesk Omni, the version with omnichannel support, costs $29, $79 and $119 per agent per month on the same three plans (Freshdesk pricing and Freshdesk Omni pricing, checked September 26, 2026). Freddy AI Agent is billed per session on top, after 500 free sessions per account.
This guide covers what each plan includes, how Freddy AI is billed, the add-ons and what a 5-agent, a 10-agent and a 25-agent team pay. All prices are USD list prices from Freshworks’ own pages. If you are weighing a switch, the Gleap and Freshdesk comparison and Gleap pricing cover the other side.
Freshdesk plans and prices
| Plan | Freshdesk, per agent per month | Freshdesk Omni, per agent per month | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Growth | $19 | $29 | Ticketing and a shared inbox, a customer portal and knowledge base, analytics, threads and tasks, roles and permissions |
| Pro | $55 | $79 | A multilingual help desk, custom dashboards and reporting, intelligent routing, multiple SLA policies and external collaborators |
| Enterprise | $89 | $119 | Freddy AI Insights, skill-based routing, a sandbox, audit logs and access controls such as allowed domains |
Prices are billed annually. Freshworks shows annual billing as “Save 20%”, so paying month to month costs more per agent. Each plan includes everything in the plan above it, and each account gets its first 500 Freddy AI Agent sessions free on any plan.
Freshdesk or Freshdesk Omni
Freshdesk is the ticketing help desk. Freshdesk Omni puts omnichannel support, AI chatbots and AI insights in one workspace. The Omni version costs $10 more per agent per month on Growth, $24 more on Pro and $30 more on Enterprise.
If your customers reach you by chat or messaging as well as email, price Omni from the start: Freshworks describes the Freshdesk plans as AI service over email and the Omni plans as service across channels.
How Freddy AI is billed
Freshworks sells two AI products for support, billed in different units:
- Freddy AI Agent, per session. Each account gets 500 free sessions once, on Growth, Pro or Enterprise. After that you buy packs at $49 per 100 sessions. Freshworks defines an email session as a 72-hour window from the customer’s first email, however many replies the AI sends, and a chat session as all interactions within 24 hours of its start. Session packs expire with your payment cycle: pay quarterly and the sessions expire quarterly.
- Freddy AI Copilot, per agent. The assistant for agents (reply help, summaries, translation and sentiment) costs $29 per agent per month billed annually. It is listed as an add-on on Pro and Enterprise, and you can assign it to as many agents as you choose.
Freddy AI Insights is included on Enterprise.
At list price, an AI Agent session costs $0.49 once the free 500 are used. A team whose AI agent handles 1,000 sessions a month pays $490 a month for them, on top of seats.
Freshdesk add-ons and usage fees
| Add-on | Freshdesk | Freshdesk Omni |
|---|---|---|
| Freddy AI Agent sessions | $49 per 100 sessions | $49 per 100 sessions |
| Freddy AI Copilot | $29 per agent per month, billed annually | $29 per agent per month, billed annually |
| Day passes for occasional agents | $2, $7 or $12 per pass on Growth, Pro or Enterprise | $5, $10 or $15 per pass |
| Connector app tasks | $80 per 5,000 tasks | $80 per 5,000 tasks |
| MCP actions beyond the plan’s yearly allowance | $15 per pack of 1,000 | $15 per pack of 1,000 |
Day passes give an occasional agent access for one day instead of a full license. The yearly MCP action allowance is 1,200 on Growth, 6,000 on Pro and 12,000 on Enterprise.
What a Freshdesk team pays
These examples use annual list prices from September 26, 2026, before tax and discounts. Each assumes the account’s 500 free AI Agent sessions are used up.
| Team | Plan and add-ons | Seats and AI | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 agents, email only | Freshdesk Growth | 5 × $19 | $95 |
| 10 agents, chat and email with AI | Freshdesk Omni Pro + Copilot, 1,000 AI Agent sessions | 10 × ($79 + $29) + $490 | $1,570 |
| 25 agents, AI across channels | Freshdesk Omni Enterprise + Copilot, 3,000 AI Agent sessions | 25 × ($119 + $29) + $1,470 | $5,170 |
Two lines grow over time. Seats grow with every hire, and day passes help only for occasional access. AI sessions grow with automation: every conversation the AI agent handles is a session, whether or not it resolves the question.
Free plan and trial
The pricing page lists no free plan (checked September 26, 2026) and offers a 14-day trial with access to the Enterprise plan. Freshworks’ help center, in an article updated January 28, 2026, describes a Freshdesk Free Program for up to two agents for six months that existing Freshdesk customers can switch to. It does not apply to Freshdesk Omni.
When Freshdesk is worth the price
Freshdesk fits teams that want a traditional help desk at a low entry price per agent, with SLA policies, routing and a customer portal, and teams that already use other Freshworks products. At $19 per agent, Growth is a low entry price for email ticketing.
It fits less well when many people need access to tickets, when AI volume grows faster than seats, or when most tickets turn into bug reports and product decisions that live in other tools.
How Freshdesk pricing compares with Gleap
Gleap prices the workspace, not the agent. As of September 2026, Gleap Starter costs $49 per month with one seat, Team costs $149 per month with unlimited seats and projects, and Pro costs $299 per month, billed annually ($59, $179 and $359 billed monthly). Kai, Gleap’s AI support agent, is on every plan. AI usage is billed separately through prepaid credits, by the tokens used and the model selected, not per session.
| Freshdesk | Gleap | |
|---|---|---|
| Price basis | Per agent per month | Per workspace per month, unlimited seats from Team |
| 10 agents, billed annually | $550 on Pro, $790 on Omni Pro | $149 on Team, $299 on Pro |
| AI agent billing | 500 free sessions once, then $49 per 100 sessions | Prepaid credits by tokens and model |
| Agent assistant | Freddy AI Copilot, $29 per agent per month | Kai Copilot from Team, its AI usage drawn from credits |
| Free plan | Not for new teams, 14-day trial | No, 14-day trial with $50 AI credit |
The trade-offs are real. Gleap has no free plan. Starter has one seat and one project, and the knowledge base, in-app bug reporting and the feature roadmap need Team or higher. AI usage comes on top of every plan, so estimate it with your own ticket volume; the pricing page shows average AI costs per task. For a small email-only team, Freshdesk can cost less: five agents on Growth pay $95 a month.
Where Gleap differs is what happens after the ticket. Bug reports from your app carry a screenshot and technical details, and on Pro, Kai Resolve investigates hard tickets and prepares coding tasks that your engineers review. The Freshdesk comparison lists both products side by side.
